It’s funny how some, not all, are using this to discredit everything Lebron have been speaking on.

He might’ve been ignorant on this situation, but it don’t take away from anything he said in the past.

He undercut himself something terribly with his clarification on Twitter by saying Morey "could have waited a week to send it". He basically just told the whole world he's just mad that he was inconvenienced, as if that's the most important thing here. There's a tiny kernel of truth to what Lebron said initially, that Morey didn't think about all the potential ramifications and consequences before sending out the tweet, but Lebron went about the absolutely worse possible way in relating that point if (big if) that's what he was going for. Instead, he threw up all over himself.

This situation was just beginning to die down a bit and Lebron comes in with some gasoline and some more matches. I cannot believe he had a full week to come up with a statement and that's the best he came up with. You could tell it was rehearsed and coached, yet he still came off like a dumbass. He would have been far better off saying nothing at all. China still would have released Space Jam 2 if he just stayed silent so if you care about the bag that much, might as well stay quiet instead of looking like an idiot.

No, his point about waiting a week to put the tweet out, was about the players being in China and their safety. It’s a reason why reports came out last week that the players felt very uncomfortable being in China while all this was going on. That’s why a lot of people believed that the NBA should’ve got them players out of there.
