You may be right. Who knows. I hope not. I think the ground-level Avengers stuff is some of the best material in the MCU.

Rewatched DD1 over the last few days. Absofuckinglutely amazing.

As good as Hawkeye was, it doesn’t hold a candle to the early Netflix stuff.

But he’s dd1 is almost perfect

The real issue with dd2 isn’t how bad it is, but just how it feels like a different planet compared to dd1

I checked out the first 2 Hawkeye episodes and didn't like it. Seems like it'ss more geared to kids. The early Netflix stuff was great. I rewatched DD aand the Defenders recently. Hadn't watched it in years. Excellent fight scenes.

Marvel just announced at SDCC that the next season of Daredevil will be subtitled Born Again, will be 18 (!) episodes long, and will debut in spring 2024. New logo:

And just like that…

Feige has basically hit the reset button on this whole project. They were reportedly approx half way through filming of the new season when Feige decided it just wasn’t working and sacked the entire writing team. He has stated that the project isn’t dead, but it is just getting redone from the ground up.

Good, I guess, that they are willing to recognize shit for shit and bail on a sinking project…

But bad, I guess, that it WAS shit and had to be bailed on.

The 2024 release date has obviously been scrapped, but they have given it a new, 2025 release date. So at least it is still on the calendar.
