I respect your opinion, but who makes all the second half adjustments that shut teams down?

Could be Coach, could be the Coordinators or BOTH. I didn't say he was bad at Xs and Os, just that it was not his forte (or main strength). Don't forget, I am simply comparing him to Bryant not anybody else! That being said, I do not care for the way Saban likes his teams to react defensively in a game instead of taking it to the other team's strength right away. When it works, GREAT! When it doesn't, it leads to an uphill battle for the rest of the game like Utah in Sugar Bowl and Texas A&M in 2012. Clearly, I am nit-picking about the best coach in the game today. However, that doesn't make him the best coach in Alabama history.

Clemson didn’t win, they kicked Bama’s ass! 49-0 is an asskicking, 14-26 does not an ass kicking make. When has Auburn blown out Bama since Saban has been there?

It's not just since Saban. Auburn hasn't beaten Alabama by more than two scores since Pat Sullivan was QB in 1969! So, that 12 point win over Alabama in 2017 was an ass kicking by Auburn standards.
