Oh, and York may be our best shooter overall, but he is not just a spot up shooter. He showed flashes of what he could do last year on the drive, he's really athletic. Won a few dunk contests in HS, think he could take the next step next year with more opportunities to score.

Same with Zeus, both of them have been underutilized…. on most teams they'd put up big numbers, but the last 2-3 years they've been an afterthought in terms of offensive production with some of the guys we've had here.

York is one of my least favorite players by default.

Buzz Williams went all in on him when Kris Dunn made it known we were his dream school. FML.

Yup tough day for us

AZ will be fine. Still have a good chance at landing Tollefson, which would be a nice addition.

Solid top 15-20 team next year IMO.

More like tough month on the recruiting trails. Oh well...

I don't think anybody is going to feel sorry for Zona pulling in a top 5 class. To go along with two really players who sat out last year. To go along with 4 other players who were top 100 coming out of high school. Lol.

Very true. I think our concern is that we have a pretty big gap at SF. I wonder if Miller goes to a 3-guard lineup. I think we have a solid, and deep backcourt in PJC, York, Allen, Trier, and Simon. And then we have a pretty solid front court in Zeus, Anderson, Ristic, and Comanche. But our SFs are freshman, Ray Smith, and junior, Elliott Pitts (who is a big SG).

I can see him starting Trier at SF next year. It will probably make Zona worse on defense because of the lack of size, but I think it would it would be Zona's most talented 5 going into next year. I'd probably bring York and Pitts off the bench along with Smith, Simon and Ristic/Comanche. That's still a very talented and solid bench mixed with experience and youth. If everything can gel, I don't think there's any question they're capable of making the Final 4. And Tollefson is still out there as a possibility as well. Zona IMO is the clear Pac 12 favorites going into next year.

I was only kidding. I'm more than happy with the team we have for next year including the freshman. Can't wait to see them in action.

ACE was finally wrong huh? Good riddance

He's been wrong in the past. He got Chatman wrong but I mean it's gotta be damn near impossible to know what a high schooler is really gonna do. I give ace props in the sense that he's right most of the time.

One of the few times PGU is wrong. ACE said one of SJ or Lee would be our starting 3 next year for sure… now? 3 guard lineup looking likely unless Ray Smith really impresses right out of the gate.

Tollefson is AZ bound now apparently. He's no Lee, but he could give us a solid 10-15 mins off the bench at the 3/4.

Congrats to Ville' though. They get a hell of a player, I was so excited to see what he could do in AZ next year. Kinda pissed at PGU for getting my hopes up, they made it sound like it was a LOCK.
