That were you listen to your team dr opinion, His past medical reports will give you answer on I would wonder if the shoulder issues are worse than whats being reported. If you feel uncomfortable shark I am sure you have some one else in mind.

I admit 17 might be a little high for these two. But I would consider them none the less. After all Iwas asked what D-lineman would I consider at 17

First I dont think he will still be on the board at 17.
Second I realize we NEED to improve the D-line, ILBs and maybe even still need a safety.
Third, I realize we are a pass first team and we might even go WR.

Now that I got that out the way..... If there at 17 should we consider him??

GO!

Shark, you didn't clarify enough -- LOL. I love these type of threads because it is a challenge to stick to the topic BUT you do allow the poster some room for interpretation even if we aren't on the same page.
I'll take the view 1). He somehow is still on the board, Second the NEED to improve the D-line was realized -- an above average player was shockingly cut and signed(Sheldon Richardson ex.) Third, "we might go WR"(let's say Ross and Davis are still there. With that scenario set ---
Mitzman's comments on Cook basically say he is an all around back, so I'm considering him. With DLine addressed
I have to think about if Cook is more valuable than Davis, Ross, Reddick, Cunningham or Peppers.
Process of elimination:ILB or S -- I'd pass on RB/WR @17 the WRs available are all hurt or recovering from surgery, RB is deep and we likely will give Kelley a legit shot to be the 2017 feature.

Hey man, I have found that if I am not precise in what I post, shit goes side ways real quick. Honestly I think until we figure out what we are going to do at a couple of spots, damn near anything is in play at 17. So IM throwing out names that I either expect to be there, or guys who might slip to us.

Personally I think Cook is gone before we draft, but there is an off chance he is there. Same goes for Watson actually. But as i stated in another post, I think if he is there.. Danny wont be able to help himself.

Oh I dont expect Allen to be there at 17, but with a bad combine and a medical down check you are taking him knowing he is likely not a ten year player who might come with injury concerns.

As for guys I expect to be there at 17, Caleb Brantley, Taco Charlton and MAlik McDowell or Montravius Adams come to mind.

I don't think Taco fits the 3-4. Brantley and Adams are not even first round picks. McDowell is way too risky. boom\bust type player

Would love to see Cook or Mixon back there. I think Kirk would breath a big sigh of relief. However, I think Chris Thompson has the chance to have a big year. If we don't pick up a RB, I could see his carries double this year. He was getting a lot of work toward the end of the year. I think he could be one of the surprises this year.

Mixon is a beast, but only a hand full of teams have interviewed him and we aren't one of them. Makes me think he's not on our board, but you never know.

Best RB in this draft....Period, end of sentence.

I agree the dude just reminds me of lev bell a lot. It's kind of stupid to take him off your board because of one incident, I know it was bad but doesn't dalvin cook have assault charges as well? I just hope we are hiding are interest in him though. But I doubt it with this team

You gotta watch this video on mixon

Mixon has to be the pick. Our running game must improve. We have the OLine to do it but we don't have the talent at RB. I like Kelly but I don't think he is the answer.

This has been my point. You can't wait for the draft to fix everything. We have to get Mixon in the 2nd. Because of this we will have to wait to wait to the 3rd to address ILB or NT. We can't wait that long for either.

I find it funny that many posters here bash the FO but blindly believe that they will hit a home run in the draft. I don't trust this FO to make logical draft decisions so I fully expect us to draft a TE in the 1st Rd, a WR in the 2nd Rd and botch the rest of the draft. NT and ILB will be addressed in the late rounds.

Signing Hankins and an ILB like Mintor or Hodges (maybe even Brown) changes this. That makes too much sense however.
