Can’t argue, but with this team it seems to be needed
Why? It seems to me we need to score more too. This defense will not prevent teams from scoring...so we need to score.

Sadly the D is not playing as well as it did earlier. Scoring needs to go up. Actually it did last week but too many TOs, one CB slipping/falling and poor tackling all cost the Redskins.
I think the team will score more with Colt but they will probably turn the ball over more.
I am pretty much ready to blow this offense up. We have no QB. I like Quinn, Harris did nothing today. Dox was okay. VD is up there in age. Trent and Jordan get hurt every year. Moses is a gamer. Guice will and should play next year.
We need a QB, at least one WR, 2 lineman and probably a TE. I like Jay but it is time for a change, he has not shown the ability to build a winning team. Bruce Allen should be gone The good news is we traded for a QB who at best won't be ready until the start of next season, we way over paid and are likely in cap hell for at least one year if not more. For that pleasure we traded away possibly our best corner and a draft choice we could use for all those holes we need to fix.
Oh and we need help in the defensive secondary.
The kicker ... we are still in the division race.
what the hell is a liberal ref??
I didn't understand that one either unless Hillary was out there wearing the zebra stripes.

Sorry dude but don’t know how you don’t understand that? Now you may not agree
I guess I've just never seen an NFL referee's job application where he had to check if he was conservative or liberal. Sty didn't understand your post either.
I see bad calls by referees in every game I watch on both teams but I've never seen a label put on any of them except a BS call.
Doesn’t matter cuz I’m not blaming the loss on the refs, hell im surprised the score was as close as it was with the way they played
Maybe what he is trying to say is that a QB who is not throwing interceptions will give the defense more rest between defensive series which might result in the opponent not scoring as much.
I agree with you that we need to score more in this NFL high octane game of today but when you don't have the offensive talent to do much scoring you've got to have defensive talent to stay in the game in hopes of winning a low scoring game.
Why don't you tell us how you really feel?
I agree, we are in a mess right now but as a Redskins fan I'm use to it!
Lol, you got the wrong post, but I’ll answer anyway. I have felt for years the skins get the short end of the stick from the media and refs due mostly in part to the owner and team name. The only ones who are offended by the name are liberals. Again it would help if the team was good eneugh to overcome the calls. Truth is, if anyone is lucky enough to beat the saints or rams this playoffs the other of the two will destroy you next game. I’d still like to see skins have that chance though. BTW, the libs hating on the name only makes my love for the team that much stronger.
Alex Smith takes care of the ball better than every QB in NFL history. He is also the biggest coward of all time.
I really can't argue with your point, however, maybe our front office should concentrate on why he's such a coward here. I suggest that he wasn't such a coward when he had these guys, and that we might do well in making him less so by replicating this level of talent around him.
1. Kareem Hunt
2. Tyreek Hill
3. Travis Kelce
And a healthy, young, stout offensive line consisting of: (2017 age in parentheses)
LT Eric Fisher (26)
LG Bryan Witzmann (27)
C Zach Fulton (26)
RG Laurent DuVernay-Tardif (26)
RT Mitchell Schwartz (28)
Blocking TE Ross Travis (24)

I believe that the use of the label "Liberal" has been totally turned into something that its never been singularly. Isn't it more than likely that our team gets the "short end of the stick" because referees are human and will give the benefit of doubt to teams that have earned it because they were good or at least better than Mr. Snyder's product has been?
Or to give another perspective, maybe the referees also see our team as a "liberal" one due to it being located in D.C. where 90% of the country aims it's venom towards politically. After all, it is in Washington where we have been conditioned to believe (my best Charles Barkley) "turrible" law and decisions come from, right?
In as much as the name is concerned, isn't it true that beyond the team mascot name, Washington is just as reviled around the country as it is? We are inundated with, stories, political rally's and court cases about the political goings on here. If most of the country, political party not withstanding, hates Washington, why shouldn't the referees?
I understand what he is saying, and I agree with what he is saying in that turnovers really hurt. They hurt about as much as missed opportunities to include those not attempted.
We have some offensive talent but we didn’t have a QB that was willing to deliver. Now we have a QB who may not have the ability to deliver.
