49ers TE George Kittle (foot) and WR Deebo Samuel (illness) area active for Week 8 against the Cowboys.
Kittle came into the weekend listed as questionable with a sprained foot sustained in the team’s Week 7 contest while Samuel was listed as questionable with an illness after being hospitalized with pneumonia earlier in the week. Both will suit up for the team’s showdown against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Inactive for the 49ers are WR Jauan Jennings, QB Josh Dobbs, K Jake Moody, DT Kevin Givens, OG Ben Bartch, CB Rock Ya-Sin, and LB Jalen Graham.

Reports surfaced Sunday morning of an illness being dealt with by the Cowboys’ starting running back, which will ultimately hold him out for the team’s Week 8 meeting with the 49ers on Sunday Night Football. Dalvin Cook was elevated to the active roster on Saturday and should see significant run in conjunction with Ezekiel Elliott out of the backfield. Also inactive for the Cowboys are DE Micah Parsons, QB Trey Lance, CB Caelen Carson, CB Andrew Booth, and OT Matt Waletzko.
