In case he is gone...........

He has an oblique thing, which can be tricky, and then tend to cost guys weeks instead of days. Since he went down, I have heard zero on any progress or rehab.

Just to add to this, I actually dropped in in 1 league, as I was able to find a decent replacement. As I feel I was lucky to do so, take that with a grain of salt I guess.

That said, you may do well to keep a good eye on pitchers on your waiver wire, just in case.

Yeah I was thinking about picking him up Big D... He is out there but injured.

Thanks for your input capt... Yeah both opinion fantasy wise and in general... I wish the Red Sox still had him, he is an innings eater and can work long relief, though Workman might get to that point....

Looking back now, the Sox got uber-hosed in that deal. They gave him up for 1/12 year of Victor Martinez. Now, it was a very good 1 1/2 year, but...........

Good old 20/20 hindsight.......

Random comment.

September is the worst month to have a guy get hurt. Why? as rosters have expanded, and, as most teams do not come close to calling up all the guys they can, a guy can be hurt, and NOT put on the D.L.

I bring this up in respect to Masterson, because if this were May or June, they might have shut him down. Then, you could just pick him up and stash him on your team D.L until he recovered.
