Asheville has Biltmore House and nice weather for three seasons, but winters in the mountains are hell and it costs 75 bucks to tour Biltmore these days. The Outer Banks are nice in the spring and early summer but stay away during hurricane season.

The rest of the state is basically Virginia with lower SAT scores, or Tennessee with higher ones.

The joke when I built a house in NC, was it cost me $50k less then VA but I had to give up 15 IQ points.

Maybe it's because I don't live there, but I love visiting Boston. It's one of my all time favorite cities. I have found the people to be very friendly, and I like the way the city lives and dies with their teams.

it's definitely one of the best 'cities' in the US if you stay out of mattapan, dorchester and roxbury.

however, i'm a redneck and can't stand crowds lol
