How's the fishing there? Been meaning to go but I just haven't had the boat out much recently. Wanahoo is an artificial lure only lake, correct? We'll occasionally hit Jeris' for lunch when fishing at Wanahoo.

I haven't had them in a while. One of the few classic style Omaha steakhouses remaining.
Have you been to the Drover? I’ve heard great things aboot that place.
My company had a Christmas outing at Gorat’s and that place was pretty damn good.
I don’t know much about steakhouses in this town yet. Mainly because they’re too damn expensive.

Other than Gorat's.....
Anthony's and Casio's would be the only ' traditional' Omaha steakhouses remaining in town.
Farmer Brown's being in Waterloo.

I'd offer up a Council Bluffs establishment to add to this local list.
On the east side of town is a place called Pizza King. The name doesn't do the place justice. But it fits the mold of the traditional steakhouse.
Great steaks, spaghetti/mostaccioli sides and a casual atmosphere.
It can get crowded in there, but that just speaks to the quality of their food.
It's been around for as long as I can remember. The wife and I go there for their prime rib.
