I know we've been at 4 rounds for a few years now, but I vote we cut this thing to 3 rounds next year. It's not like you can't just pick guys up as free agents once the draft is over anyway and the majority of 4th round picks every year have been passes, not to mention the 4th round seems to take twice as long as the rest of the draft.

Maybe a solution is they each get a additional pick at the end next year and do away with the 4th round.

And just think up until a couple of yrs ago we had 5 RD's ..... with probably 80% of them passed. ... I'm for it as well - but would seem we'd have to allow compensation pick(s) to those that made trades - or move them to the top of the waiver order.

That sounds like a plan to me. The advantage to it being on this thread is that it's not like we have to follow the rules of a conventional draft.
