D Rose is done

Honestly, it's hard to say if Rose is only a role player now or not. There's no disputing that his numbers are down. But is it because he's just a role player now, or is it because he's working his way back into NBA shape after missing 2 years and/or the fact that he actually has help now?

Yeah, I'm thinking it's going to take until at least the all-star break to truly see how much, if at all, the injuries have diminished his game. In the NBA, you can't sit out for 2 years and expect to just jump back in and dominate right away.

If memory serves, it took MJ a little bit to get back to being MJ and his absence wasn't injury related.

Yes because he knows that for that 1 play he can drive and make something happen. He cant be that player for a whole game anymore. Im not bashing Rose. He is my Fav bulls player but Im just stating what I see from watching the games.

He isn't the same player and its very understandable because of what he went throught.

My whole point is he isn't who he is anymore I don't think we will see that player ever again. He is a Poor man version of Wade now. Both have bad knees, will miss games in a season, both aren't great shooters but both can drive and still give you a great game every once in awhile and u want them taking the last shot their team. Rose is better still at getting to the basket but wade has the experience of winning. I mean Rose Avg with Asst is only 5.2. That isn't great for a starting PG. He is ranked 28th in Asst.

D Rose looked really good last night. Still having trouble with 3's. I don't think he can play like that every game but if he can do that once a week I will take it. He looked good last night. 1st time he scored 30+ its since 2012. WOW

No one ever said Minor role player. Get your facts right. I said he is the 3rd option and a starting role player who is the PG.

Now yes if he plays like he did last night more often then he won't be a role player and he will be a all star again but I don't think he can play like that for a long period of time because he might get hurt again.

Like I said I hope he proves me wrong but history says I will be right. He will get hurt again or he will have a game like last night every once in awhile. As a Bulls fan I hope he does go back to that All star player that he was because then Bulls will be tough to beat.

Yeah Rose had a good game. It was fun to watch last night. Another thing from this game and not just from this game from the whole season is Jimmy Butler is the best Overall Game SG in the league. I never saw someone become this good like he has after being a so so pick when we drafted him.


He has worked on his game and the Bulls are going to have to pay a lot now.

Again u take a good game he played in what about the last 2 games.... oh yeah he didn't play in those again.

Last game he did play in (Atlanta game) 14 pts 0-7 from 3. 6-21 overall. 4th in scoring(looks like starter role player)

So Rose has been up and down all year. Trust me I hope I see more of these good game but its unrealistic. He will always miss a lot of games now.

Jimmy was never a so so pick for late first round.

His improved offense has made him incredible right now but anyone who followed him knew he was a 1st rounder.

Bulls did their research and go rewarded!!
