Can't believe we cut Ryan Williams and decided Randle was better than him (trying not to make Jerrah look dump). Also, can't believe we kept Heath over someone like Byrd who could play his position on special teams which is the only place that kid belongs. Also, I hope we are just keeping the 3rd QB because we will cut him for a solid DT that may get cut elsewhere. Our D-line looks pretty week right now along with our linebackers.

Let's not over evaluate the roster as it is. I think there will be a few changes before teams are allowed to sign their PS guys. I would not be surprised to see 3 or 4 names change in the next 24 hours. I wish this was simply a free agency person but I'm sure teams claim players with waivers. Meaning we can't get every player we want. Teams have to use their waiver claims wisely.

Really thought Vaughn would end up on our P-squad, but wasn't expecting him to be on the active roster.

I raised my eyebrows on that too. I guess the team sees Vaughan as a possible future starter or a quality BU. What it does tell me is Weeden has one year here and he's out.

Totally agree. Shame on Weeden. Vaughn surprised me, but I think we cut him and keeping him a little longer so we can stash on practice squad. Not sure what we see, but we see something apparently.

Not sure. I'll leave the talent evaluation to those who know more than the scouts of all 32 NFL teams.

I think the waivers are a 24 hour period only and they are only for the younger guys. Vets are already FAs and young guys become FAs tomorrow if not claimed. And you need to put the guy on the roster if you claim him, no PS. So any unclaimed guys can be looked at as free agents.

I think you have it. Yes there vets are FG'S and young guys go through the waiver system. It's also true players picked off waivers have to placed on the 53-man roster. PS are manned tomorrow.

Those were probably the two best players we cut, I'm sure the Cowboys want Mitchell for the practice squad, but I bet he doesn't make it through waivers
