We just traded for Lavar Edwards a DE from Tenessee for a conditional 7th. One start last year for Titans....Selvie must be hurt.

I hope Dixon makes the team. I like how he puts his body on the line. I like the fact that he punishes receivers even if the ball is not catchable. He needs to keep doing that so the opposing receivers have something to think about.

Sam's bid to become the NFL's first openly gay player to appear in a regular season game hits a speedbump. The 2013 co-SEC Defensive Player of the Year was productive during the preseason, earning a slightly positive grade from PFF while compiling two sacks, two QB hits and four QB hurries on 133 snaps. But he was always a bubble prospect due to unimpressive athleticism and no role on special teams. The Rams will likely try to get Sam onto their practice squad, but he'd do better to head to a team with less depth and talent on their defensive line.

yeah Jarntt I would at the very least bring him in to see. Not like our bar is all that high right now to make the team at DL.

Agree. I didn't want him I. Dallas because of the circus he'll bring but he would easily make this roster.

Sam would be a candidate to come in and contribute. It would be a move of desperation and at this point we dont have many options. With all the injuries, to Lawrence and Spencer I would not blame them if they brought in Sam. Sam is obviously confident and he has won me over with his heart and desire to become a great player. Give me a player that shows up in games over a guy that practices well and is invisible during games.

Glad to see Clutts and the 3rd QB for now. No big losses or big surprises. I don't really see another team rostering Mitchell Will Smith or Smitth the safety.
