Aaron Judge. FA this winter. Seems disenchanted with NY. Cali boy.

Should FZ go after him?
If he did, how much, how long could we live with?

I would not be interested in him on any kind of long term deal, almost regardless of $$. “Giants” (no pun intended) so seldom have long term success in baseball. Outside of Winfield, Thomas and Parker, are there any others?

Giants acquired Corey Abbott from the Cubs, added him to the 40 man roster and optioned him. They dfa'd Jaylin Davis to make room on the 40 man roster. Poor Davis never got a real chance in the big leagues.

They will be doing the 40-man two-step if they want to do that. There really isn’t anyone not on the 28 who can be DFAd unless they want to dump Abbott already. I wouldnt be SUPER shocked if Doobie were a casualty, but they are going to need more spots soon with Wade, Longo and La Stella due back shortly (?).

Wow. Every year when Duggar gets a little traction, he gets hurt and derails his progression (remember when he f’d up his shoulder a few years ago and ended his season). He is good, but he isn’t good enough to deal with his fragility.

We now have 6 players on the IL. 2 SP, 2 OF and 2 Inf. All 6 are from our no-question 26-man roster (5 “starters” and one of the best PHs in the game).

Well, to be fair: they are relatively healthy. Nobody is out for the season and the worst situation is Longo, who should be back by end of May. And, we have depth so I think we're ok.
