I will also say that when I was in Seattle a few weeks ago, there were a LOT of Haniger jerseys being worn by people. I believe that the only jerseys more popular were Junior and King Felix (other than the current players). Haniger seemed very popular with the Mariner fans. This has been a snake-bit year for him, starting the season on the IL and then HBP which broke an arm. Hope he is healthier next season, but I am not holding my breath. While injuries are a given in sports, to sign someone to a $45 million contract who has a long history of injuries is just asking for it from the baseball deities.

In that article it mentions Kap was walking on the outfield grass with Webb. Talking for a bit, and afterwards Webb mentioned it was a good talk. From my lip reading ability it seems like Webb asked him if will he ever get run support or will he just be Cained most of the time. Kap shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know”.

There is a 1:21 video with the article showing them walking in the outfield and talking. But yes, I can lip read newspaper articles but only in the summer time, so my super powers is almost done for the year.
