A 27 year old 31nd (see what I did there?) rounder from the ‘18 draft. He has steadily advanced through the system, but never showed any pop-off-the-page numbers to really garner any attention. But this year, to date, has been untouchable. Maybe he is a late bloomer? Maybe they are just calling him up to try catch some of his lightning, and they feel he can be jettisoned when his spot is needed for someone else (Harrison?)?

Wow, Bailey is up sooner than I expected! It will be interesting to see if he gets the lion's share of playing time at catcher or if they try to get Sabol some more time behind the dish (personally, I'd like to see more of Sabol in left field, and less of Haniger).

I think Sabol has done enough overall to continue getting playing time in general. I think will be something like a 75/25 (Bailey/Sabol) split behind the dish with maybe a 50/50 split between Sabol and Haniger in left.

Maybe Haniger gets more. He has the track record. And much as I am liking Sabol, I don’t think he has any kind of astronomical ceiling. Haniger has more potential than Sabol and we want to tap into that.
