Then there are option years, and those only eat one per season, no matter how many trips on shuttle the player gets.

I am not tracking the yearly options yet, frankly because I don’t fully understand them yet. I THINK this was his second use of that one this year.

Yes, I was referring to the yearly option limit. It appears that he's been optioned twice now since they started counting in early May:

Its been utterly ridiculous. His 3 stints with the team have been 3 days, 1 day and 2 days. Is this really how a top prospect is developed, FZ? You make Sabean look like a patient man with prospects. Did Bart make you bitter toward farmhands?
