Sanchez threw 59 pitches in his 3 innings of work on Tuesday and threw 2 innings 4 days before that. He was getting stretched out in Sacramento toward starter innings. I could imagine him starting on Saturday, with the plan of him working 4 to 5 innings (if he doesn't get shelled).

Just read that Gas is going onto the Paternity list; Belt will be activated.

Sanchez wouldn't line up for Saturday (four days rest) and we have no game on Monday.

Not really.

Sanchez has not shown anything close to the velocity he apparently had in his showcase. and he apparently has been added ant about being a starter rather than filling whatever roll was needed. Reading between the lines, I get the sense the Giants didn’t like his attitude and he wasn’t what the thought they were signing.

Brebbia, oth, has a great, recent track record as a back-end bully arm. I agree he has looked HORRIBLE this year, but I think there is significant upside with him.
