Cannon is more like a low-level lottery ticket at this point.

And again, Tauchman is a guy who has been on FZs radar for literally years. A few weeks of rough ABs is not going to define him. Some guys take a while to adjust after a trade. Especially a coast-to-coast move.

Bad news for the #SFGiants. Logan Webb is headed to the 10-day IL again with the same right shoulder strain. Mike Yastrzemski is headed to the 10-day IL again with a right thumb sprain. Nick Tropeano and Jason Vosler have been recalled.

From what I hear, players on ILs are up considerably across the board this year. Its creating all sorts of wild speculation.
That's interesting I do remember when, what's his name running back for the raiders (Bo), who played baseball that crossover players from other sports tended to get hurt more than those who came up being baseball players, that the stop then go full speed aspect of baseball was a contributing factor especially for Hammys. Dunno if that's true but it made sense when I heard it a long time ago. So in conclusion having played less baseball this last year that it would seem, if true, that you might see and increase because of that factor. :noidea: :brick:

I had thought the talk about Bo was that his football playing caused his baseball injuries. I guess the sport was blamed by people from the other sport.

One of the theories I've heard about this year is that players aren't used to playing a full season and so the injuries are racking up. However, to me, I'm not sure how playing less would create more injuries early the next year. Maybe I'm just not fully understanding this idea, but if that idea was carried through, playing nonstop for an entire year should result in even fewer injuries next year!

All a part of conditioning (or lack there of). Coming off a short season AND quarantine is bound to cause players to naturally be in less optimal shape than normal.

In his last 10 games...

.167/.268/.361/.629

And for May (and the 2 games in June so far)...

.284/.391/.473/.864

Not horrible, but FAR from the MVP level he put up in April. And this is still with him only playing 2/3 of games.

I am not trying to poop on the Buster parade, but let’s not get too crazy about his return...

We shall convene a Board of Directors meeting immediately to discuss your ban.

This from the guy who thinks Tauchman deserves regular playing time.

Never said Tauchman deserves anything (neither more nor less time). Just pointing out the FO’s thought process.

Nor am I arguing to forcing Posey out the door before today’s game starts. Just showing the numbers that his hot start isn’t necessarily a sign that 2012 Posey is back.

Why are you upset? If Posey continues his decline, maybe it opens a spot for another catcher to take his rightful spot as an MLB top 10 catcher.

No, its obvious you want this team to fail. Your subliminal non statements are shouting and I can interpret them any way I want. You are obviously a hater and I cannot talk to you any longer. This is my completely objective, factual, data driven judgment of you.
