Yeah, I was excited about him at first as well, but IMHO, I feel he's never going to be a quality SP.

Melvin Adon has been added to the 60 player pool. I wonder what the point was in not adding Shaw and Adon at the beginning of summer training if they were never in danger of dfa's. Why keep guys that you put at a lower priority than someone like Carlos Navas?

His fall was as fast as his sudden appearance. I was bummed when he struggled and even more bummed that he wasn't given a 2nd chance.

The Giants did make a trade, acquiring Anthony Banda for cash considerations from the Rays. He is a dfa trade.
Joey Rickard is now on the 60 day IL.
