Agreed. Of course we want everyone in our org to succeed, but obviously they can't. We have many other OFs now in the org with a shot. Wishing RK the best (just not against us).

I had higher hopes for Neal than I did for RK. RK was too injury prone. I was shocked that they moved Neal for such a small return at the time. I was expecting Neal to challenge for the RF job going into '10.

I am always rooting for the kids, though.

I actually didn't mind Marcus that much. He knew his stuff (for a message board), he just got carried away too easily which made him hard to stomach.

They both were in SJ for the first time together in 2009 (and dominated) then moved up to Richmond together. Injuries then set back RK for a bit, but they were both in AA all year. Neal started in AAA in 2011, but RK stayed in AA. Then Neal was traded mid-season.

They were on similar trajectories. Neal reached the majors first, but if it weren't for injuries they would've cracked around the same time. Neal is actually younger too.
