There's a good chance I trade one later on, either will be better than what's on the board at C and several guys haven't picked one. Also possible I draft a 1B and use one as #2. Best alignment now is Mauer at 1B. Perez was BPA IMO

Yeah, you can make the 1st to 3rd throw either way, it's just footwork. Most 1B are lefties that are to slow for the OF because there's nowhere else they can play
