I think he's terrific. Heck of a player. I think KC and Houston are going to be awfully good the next 5-6 years
His size is a huge advantage imo. He can double as an enforcer. And erybody he plays knows it.

I think KC is coming to a crossroads quick.

Can't expand on that too much, yet, in here.

But Inreally worry about Yost destroying Sals knees.

In 2-3 years, Correa will be right there with Trout and Harper in the argument for best player in the game. Book it
I thought of him for platoon leadoff. Even if he won't do it for Houston.

Not sure how much power he'll develop. If it's in their range he'll be must see stuff for sure. Might be anyway.

22 HR's in 99 games at age 20....Trout hit 30 in 139 games at age 20, Harper hit 20 in 118...and Correa is a SS. I don't know if he will be ARod, but at 6'4'', who knows

Imagine if Harper had stayed a catcher into the majors....

He had the potential to be outstanding. Has a great arm and is athletic for the position. The move was all about keeping him healthy

Honestly, unless the general player is very good(well above average) defensively at catcher, I would never allow my best hitting prospect to be a catcher...

Which I agree with... Think it was the best move for both the nationals and Harper...
It's a bigger risk to leave him at catcher, but with a bigger reward as a possibility. A great catcher that can hit can have a major impact on wins and losses.....From Berra, to Campy to Bench to Carter, lots of Championships for great hitting catchers. While Pudge never won a championship, his team had a great deal of success. Even the more modern guys like Mauer, Posey, Molina and Perez....lots of hardware starts with a catcher

That's why I asked about defense... you named good defensive catchers who happen to be very good hitters... I agree having a good defensive catcher who can hit is a huge advantage... But he better be better than average defensively... what you don't want is your best hitter to be a catcher, AND the catcher to not be a good defender...
