But for the life of me I don't know how you could have Carlton ahead of Grove. He pitched forever, (which hurt his rate stats pretty bad.)but grove dominated over his peers.

Carlton did pitch too long but he was amazing in his prime, Grove to me while amazing wasn't a big strikeout guy and allowed a hit per inning pitched.

I think Carlton, Koufax, Johnson, Grove, Spahn and Hubbell are all in the conversation...

I'm with you on the top six. I'd like to see Kershaw string together a few more great seasons so I can say I watched the best lefty ever his entire career. Including once in the minors.

But has his work cut out for him. Not many guys in the game with a chance to GOAT at their respective position...
