Not gonna overreact. Concussions are unpredictable, but in both senses, and just because he had the really bad one, doesn't mean that all future concussions will be drawn-out, life-affecting affairs. It's very possible he just misses 2 or 3 weeks.

I think it's 3 if you count the two ones in quick succession that led to his long recovery. The 2nd one was Hedman (I think) after the first big one went undiagnosed for a few games.
My guess is that if this was a player without a major concussion injury like Crosby, they wouldn't even have noticed. He did a big fan event the day he was diagnosed, it's not like he needed to sit around in a dark room. Just being cautious, is my guess.
