Dude, the statement is accurate. It says past 5 seasons.

Oregon didnt join them. Oregon had 9 wins last season before both LSU and Nebraska.

If the statement had read Oregon, Alabama, LSU and Nebraska are the only teams to have 9 wins over the last 5 seasons (put the teams in any order you like) then it would be accurate.

by saying Oregon joined them it is saying the others were there already.

No it's not accurate.

LSU 'joined' the other 3 teams.

Oregon was already there along with Alabama and Nebraska.

LSU reached it's 5th year in a row to have won 9 games a year.

LSU "joined" Oregon, Alabama, and Nebraska in that category.

It says the last 5 seasons. Not 6 seasons, not 7 seasons. 5 seasons. I guess you two can't fucking read.

Here's what it says

"Oregon joins Alabama, Nebraska and LSU as the only teams to win at least nine games in each of the past five seasons"

Prior to last season LSU was on a 4 year streak. After the season they "Joined" Oregon, Alabama, and Nebraska on the 5 year streak.

Prior to last season, Oregon, Alabama, and Nebraska already had 5 year streaks going. LSU did not.

Oregon is now on a 7 year streak
Alabama and Nebraska are now on 6 year streaks.

LSU is now on a 5 year streak.

LSU "joined" the other 3 teams.

The statement in the OP is inaccurate.

Oregon did not "join" anybody. They've been in the "Win 9 games a year for 5 years in a row" category since 2011.

Alabama and Nebraska "joined" Oregon in the 5 year streak in 2012.

LSU joined them in 2013.

Ohio St can "join" them in 2016.

LSU has won 45 straight regular season nonconference games, and Les Miles is 35-0 since taking over in 2005.

Sorry, but 9 wins is not something to celebrate at Ohio State. We'll be in the 12+ wins category in 2016.

Here's another way of looking at it.

Oney has been in Special Ed. class for 5 years.

pennstnut has fallen behind in reading comprehension.

pennstnut has been sent to Special Ed class.

pennstnut has now "joined" Oney in Special Ed class.

Red_Alert could have joined Oney and pennstatenut, but he was held back because he didn't understand what "past 5 seasons" meant.

:L

The 5 seasons isn't the issue.

It's where you stated Oregon "Joined" those other teams that you are in error.

LSU was the team that "Joined" the other 3 that were in the category previously.

JOIN verb:

"To become linked or connected to"

Example: Following 2012 LSU had at least 9 wins for 4 years in a row. For the 2013 season, LSU once again had at least 9 wins. LSU now has 9 wins 5 years in a row. Therefore LSU became linked or connected to the category of 9 wins for 5 years in a row.

I give you a B in counting. However, you are failing miserably in vocabulary and comprehension. You cannot move on with the rest of the kids until you can pass all subject matter.

First of all, I did not write those. It was from a compiled list of stats about the top teams going into this year.

So, under Oregon's list, it was written that way to indicate it is an Oregon stat.

And it says "Oregon joins with", not "joined with" which is what your dumbass keeps saying.

Past 5 seasons in this instance refers to the years 2009-2013. This means that it is setting a specific time frame.
