I bet, your no fan...have fun.
Do you just make up BS or enjoy writing it down for others to amuse themselves with? With the current Redskins QB situation (past & present) you simply want to continue pointing fingers, placing blame and looking for the next QB to fail so you can say, "see, I told you so". What a complete waste of time. KC was what he was just as AS will be what he is. I will rally behind AS just as I did with Cousins hoping as a true fan, that we can make our way back to the playoffs. If that means as a fan I latch on to the AS band wagon, then so be it, that's what fans do. I also latch on to the TW, CR, BS, MM, JC, JD, PR, JR, VD, SP band wagon as well.Right, but the FANS who spent the last three season actively or passively bitching about the QB are all now AOK because they have latched onto the Smith Band Wagon... got it Awesome.

You might want to re add your numbers. You gained 37 points, so its basically a 4th rd comp pick, or first pick in the 5th.With all the swaps and extra 5th rounder we gained almost 45 points. That equates to a late 4th round pick. I was just hoping for a 4th. Was this deal done too early?
I think you misunderstand. Im looking forward to holding Smith to the exacting standards established by this fan base.
And to that end, if he is as good as some would have me believe he should be
Able to carry the team
Perform in the clutch
Make others around him better
NOw i will admit I wasnt a fan of Smith before we traded for him, and I see nothing to this point to make me change my opinion of him simply because the Redskins traded for him. I think he is a game manager. And if not falling in line and propping him up to be more than he is, makes me NOT a fan of the team in your opinion.... well you know what they say about opinions and assholes.
And for the Record Cousins is just the latest and most obvious in a long list of players this team should have kept over the years, but for what ever reason felt the need to go with the flashier option. Im shocked Bruce hasnt played up the whole he was a #1 overall draft pick angle yet (Speaking of Smith).
hence the name sewer cravens
I really can’t understand the hate on Cravens, especially over this.
When the doctor tells you to do something, you do it. Cravens got no support from this organization.
Scherff - a stud. All you could ever ask for from a top 5 pick.
Smith - good young pass rusher. Agree he's inconsistent but still getting better. For a 2nd rounder he's been great.
Crowder - very good young wr. Absolute steal for a 4th rounder
Jarrett - obviously a shame he got hurt and that ruined everything but he played excellently. Another absolute steal just was ruined by a freak injury.
Doctson - a disappointment so far but I still have hope. It's only year 3, he's been decent with flashes of excellence, and he basically medical redshirted his freshman year.
Sua - looked like a solid player. Freak instance that we can't blame on SM got in the way of another great pick.
Fuller - fantastic young player and pick. That good a player with a 3rd rounder is a steal and a half.
Ionnidis - was legitimately very good when healthy last year. Dude was a 5th round pick. Him just sticking on the roster makes him a good pick. Him being an actually good player is awesome.
Moral of the story that's 7 picks that met or blew expectations out of the water in 2 years and 1 (Doctson) who hasn't yet met expectations but is still a decent player who may yet meet those expectations.
That's great drafting.

Sua
Whatever. 3 of those 8 players (Sua, Jarrett, Fuller) aren't even Redskins anymore. 2 of them played less than 16 games as Redskins. A great draft includes getting good/great production from players that you drafted. That leaves us with
Schreff - has been a great draft pick
P Smith - lets see if he's still a Redskin going into 2019. I like him as well, but the jury is still out.
Crowder - has been a good pick
Doctson - jury still out
Ionnidis - opened some eyes with his play last year, but has yet to play a full 16 game schedule. Jury still out.
I really can’t understand the hate on Cravens, especially over this.

After using race as an excuse for getting pulled over for reckless driving. I was done with the idiot. Let alone some other not so bright comments from him

Ok scherff we agree. Doctson fine. Crowder was great.
The rest of this involves knocking people for injuries. Are you suggesting SM should have known Jarret would suffer a career ending injury? Or that he should have known sua would suffer a severe concussion and then quit before his second season? Or that SM should have know Ioniddis would break his hand and miss a few games?
Because those are all ridiculous arguments. The fact is SMs job was to bring in talented football players in the draft. He clearly did a fantastic job
Sigh. I'm not knocking anyone for anything. Just using reality and what took place in that reality as it relates to said drafts. The injuries are neither the fault of Scotty Mac or the players who themselves were injured. But one injury was what looks to be a career ender for Jarrett. How the fuck can you not factor that into the draft equation?
For better or worse you have to tie in production from a draft as much or moreso even than talent. Talent can be wasted or never realized at all. Getting production from the talent of the draft has to be taken into account and regardless if its your fault, my fault, their fault, nobody's fault. Calling the drafting of Jarrett some kind of Scotty Mac guru move from any aspect is what's ridiculous. He played less than a season and the Redskins cut him due to a terrible injury. That's not Jarrett's fault or Scotty Mac's fault. It was a tough break for sure especially for Jarrett, and it effectively rendered drafting Jarrett at the best an imc pending failure status. And that's that. Due to no one's fault, just shitty luck or fate or whatever. Picking Jarrett in the draft from a personnel standpoint. Did not work out favorably for the Washington Redskins.
Cravens situation is even more fucked up than Jarrett's. As he may end up a decent player somewhere else....or not. One thing is certain though. Its not gonna be as a Washington Redskin. I liked Cravens. I think he showed some skills, sealed the win against the Giants in week 3 with a nice pick. Was apprehensive in some ways about the potential move to safety, but intrigued as well....okee doke, what? Cravens is audi 5 like a mothafucker too. Less than a season of play from the 2nd player in that draft window. From a personnel standpoint, another unfavorable pick for the Redskins.
Kendall Fuller - year 1 he took his lumps, but he learned as well. Year 2 He looked much improved, year 3, he's a Kansas City Chief. How's his talent serving the Redskins? Or Cravens or Jarrett's? 43% of that talented group of drafted players are no longer Washington Redskins after only 2 years. You have to factor production/talent into any draft equation, for an accurate gauge. As it relates directly to helping the Redskins become a better football team. 3 players including possibly the best player of the two drafts all gone.
Not trying to hate, but congrats and atta boys aren't warranted either.
If you're talking what the organization has to show for everything sure. But if you're talking what SM has done...he crushed it in those 2 drafts.
Jarret already gave us way more production than should be expected of a 7th rounder. That's a fantastic pick any way you cut it. Reality is though that SM drafted a future starter at a long time position of need or at worst a solid role player in the 7th round. That's fantastic.
Cravens is the weirdest situation. But again we can all agree he looked promising. Looks like SM was right again but just got obscenely unlucky after the fact...again.
Fuller I don't know how you cant be impressed by. The dude was a stud last year at an important position and we got him in the 3rd round. That's an absolute steal. Just because Bruce is a moron and sent him packing so we could downgrade at QB doesn't mean SM didn't make yet another awesome pick with fuller.
So again...it depends who you're evaluating here...if you're looking at how SM did...he pretty clearly crushed it.
Its not his fault 1 guy got a career ending injury, 1 guy got a severe injury and quit, and 1 guy got traded for peanuts by SM's dumbass replacement.
His latest comment indicated he wanted to "change the perception of him as a quitter" because, well, he is not a quitter according to himself. While that could be, Cravens should admit he has mental health issues that need to be addressed if he really thinks he didn't quit on his team 1 week before the season started. Or the many other times he has left his current football team for one reason or another. Clearly this guy needs help from professionals in order to live a long healthy life. I'm fairly certain this is not the last we have heard from Cravens.
