Ok that is great. I still would trust Adam Schefter to have the information right.

The way I understand Cravens retiring is that it goes well beyond just concussions. He had suffered a couple of injuries and knew something was wrong. The team doctors told him everything was good to go and told him to get back on the field. He went to an independent doctor who told him he was much more hurt than he even realized and shouldn't trust those team doctors. So he became very leery of the Redskins organization and how they were taking care of him. Hard to want to put full effort into an organization when you don't think they care about you one bit.

Keep trying to convince yourself maybe it’ll work out :suds:

I would say big difference between doing something you don't like in your job and that of not trusting them to actually care about your health. Players are much more informed on the health risks of the game these days and when they find out that the team doctors are putting your health at risk for a short term gain for the team then yeah I would have a problem with that.

I've had jobs do that before and knew I needed to walk away from those as quickly as possible because the long-term effects of such a job could destroy future opportunities.

Hmm..was this the problem at USC as well?

I'm not really sure how anyone in their right mind can cheer for the Skins at this point.

They are literally the sorriest ran & operated organization in professional sports.

What a clown show this team is.....

Is this a team you proudly take ownership of as a fan?

people like coach, dean, and that chiller dumbass really need to pull their heads out of their asses

Huge risk. Wasn't he wanting to retire last year due to his concussion issue?

I honestly have no huge expectations from this trade. It was a low risk possible high reward kind of trade. If he retires or doesn't work out the Broncos are out about a 5th and 7th round pick in value. If he works out then the Broncos have a great safety trio they can move around and match up well against RB's, TE's, and WR's.

How are the cap number from KC to Smith working for you?

Great. Kirk went to a better team, we got the older knock off version for a little less.

I don't know his history with USC. I just know with talking with people working around the league that his retirement from the Redskins had very little to do with the Concussions.

Yes that’s true. I’ve already said it was a gamble worth taking. Could end up being a great move for Denver

You will have to understand, for some of these guys, what Bruce Allen says holds more weight than this

yep probably as we have seen 2 players fail physicals (Breeland and Ryan Grant)

oh yeah and RG3 was cleared when the guy was barely able to walk.... perhaps the orders and clearances are coming from someone else much like everything else in this shitty organization

Those things are never going to happen & you know it. The NFL owners form one of the richest fraternities in the world & they rarely turn on each other so don't hold your breath waiting for Snyder to sell the team or get ousted as owner. Pretty much the same for Allen barring a Browns like collapse. As I have noted several times - Allen is a key figure in an eventual stadium relocation to VA so he will likely always have a role with this team & unfortunately like as GM for a while.

What part of hating Snyder/Allen didn't you get? I don't give a shit what other fans think of me as a Redskins fan or how they view this team. If that is an issue with you since you live in Philly - well - that is your problem.

And Allen/Snyder are NOT the team. They don't throw or catch passes, run the ball, tackle or block. When I am watching a Skins game I am not thinking of them (perhaps I am in the offseason or after a loss but I am not obsessed by them like some other here).

Oh well - agree to disagree - & I don't care what you post - I will remain a proud Redskins fan - proud of main fan allegiance - not the owner or FO.

yeah i guess so... i dont see anything to be proud about regarding the current state of this franchise... not a thing

well maybe how criminally underrated Ryan Kerrigan is
