Early on Coyotes youth is showing over the Red Wings experience and talent. Red Wings taking a lot of penalties because they are just not as quick. I'm sure the Red Wings talent will shine plenty through the series.

Not at all. The Red Wings spent most of the 1st chasing the Yotes and most of those penalties were stick penalties. Their PK looks very strong, though.

Phoenix moves the puck around way too slowly on the PP. Detroit's been good on the PK, but they really haven't had to work at it. The Yotes gotta move it around quicker and spread Detroit out to wear them down and tire them out. It's the only way they'll be successful.

agreed, the wings were chasing. but they are calling it tight against the wings.

could have easily called doan for interference against helm, couple others that were 50/50. just asking for even and fair reffing. also, i'll be clear that in no way will i ever say that reffing will tilt a game one way or another.

doesn't matter how the refs call it. in the post season, you make your own fate. refs call shit, you kill the penalty. if you give up a goal, it's your fucking fault.

that's my philosophy on it anyway.

Agreed. PHX was the better team that period, but they are giving the Wings no room for error and giving the Yotes some elasticity in their play.
