Accept that they couldnt get the ball into the endzone. So far looks like Dallas is going to have another ruff year offensive line wise.

Half the offensive lineman they have on roster are currently injured in some way shape or form. That spells trouble in most cases.

Some of the more senile Cowboy fans like to lecture on how our offensive line lacks depth. One of the reasons we'll only be 6-10 don'tcha know...

I'll take knowing who four out of our five starters will be, with all four being healthy enough to play if the game were tomorrow any day over half my roster at any position being either injured, or nursing injuries.

Even though I'm not a fan of Polumbus, we probably know at this point that he will be our RT this year. So same starting line as last year. And for what the scheme calls for, our line is very good with the exception of RT in pass pro. And we could have very good depth, lots of youth. But we don't know since our line was healthy last season.

Polumbus is very good in the zone blocking scheme and he wasn't bad in pass pro on the read option looks. If it's 3rd and 12 he looked like swiss cheese. Let's hope he has developed in that respect. Theirs a lot to be said for line continuity is this is the 3rd year this line is together.

Considering all the injuries to the Cowboys D last year, and the fact that the Cowboys and Skins went down to the last game of the season for the division, it kind of gives you perspective on where the Skins really are too. Take off the Burgundy glasses and welcome to reality. The Skins are mediocre too

We'll see how it shakes out, but it definitely looks like 4 average teams in the NFCE. None of them look remotely as talented and deep as say SF. Another year, and it looks like it will be another battle to see who can stumble into winning the division with a 10-6 record, possibly 9-7.

You really are clueless, aren't you. First, don't you get tired of making excuses every year. At least us Skins fans are realistic. We sucked for the better part of a decade. No excuses. Second, do you think the Cowboys are the only team that had injuries last year? Care to take a look at our injuries from last year? Let me just give you a glimpse. on Defense, we lost our best OLB (perennial pro bowler, orakpo) for the season in game 2. We lost our starting left DE in game 2. We lost both our FS and SS in preseason for the entire season. On offense, we lost our starting TE in game 3 for the season (many experts were predicting a PB appearance for him). We lost our #1 WR for the better part of a half season. We lost our #2 RB and third down threat for the entire season. Those are just some of them.

But those are just excuses. Every team has injuries. The good teams overcome them. So how'd you guys do last year? Or the year before that? Or the year before that? At what point do you face reality, like we had to do, and say......"We suck. Its not because of injuries, its because we are a mediocre football team. We have a few stars (bryant and lee, most notably), but we have way too many holes. We also have an owner that thinks he is a GM (Skins have been there), that causes much more harm than good. We have a coach that seems overmatched (Hello, Zorn). We have a QB that can put up numbers, but ends up losing critical games with boneheaded plays. Oh yeah, we just resigned him for $100+M for 7 years so we have a long time to see more of this guy. Finally, we are in cap hell. We are projected to be 25+M over the cap in 2014 so we will have to dump some of the rare talent we have and will not be in a position to sign any new, meaningful FAs for the next few years."

Seriously? The Redskins are "mediocre too" like the Cowboys? Who is wearing the rose colored glasses here...Cowboy fan or Redskins fan? LOL

They did play the Cowboys twice last year right? You did watch the games, right? At what point in any game were the Cowboys even on the same level as the Redskins? Thanksgiving? No. Ok, the NFCE Championship game in December when RG3 only had one good wheel? No again.

The word "mediocre" is accurate when discussing the Cowboys, the words "NFCE Champions" is not only accurate, but the truth when talking about the Redskins...and we all know how hard that is for you to swallow.

Reality is the Redskins had injuries too that contributed to early losses until the adjusted. Fact is the Redskins were 5-1 in the division and never in any danger of losing to the Cowboys. Reality is you are filled to the brim with excuses

Once again, A Cowboy fan trying to rationalize, or better yet, make excuses for Dallas' poor performance.
First of all, the only reason Dallas even had the CHANCE to play Washington for the division was because of Washington's hit of injuries of three key starters in Orakpo, Carriker, and the loss of their best DB in Merriweather. To compound this was the three game loss to New York, Carolina and Pittsburgh.
This put them in difficult position to make the post seaon after starting 3-6.
However they sucked it up to run off with 7 straight victories to make the playoffs.
The Redskins were dealt with injuries to the team just as much as Dallas. You can make even a stronger point that their injuries were more crucial than Dalas' when you consider they lost their starting TE for the year and best receiver in Garcoin for most of the seaon. How would Romo had handled this adversity?
If not for that three game slump the Redskins hit, Dallas, based on their performance for most of last seaon, were very lucky to even compete for the division.
Quite frankly, you owe Philadelpha a "thank you." Or do I have to break this down for you, too?

Lets be honest, the Redskins have been, and always will be, the Joker to the Cowboys Batman, the Lex Luthor to the Cowboys Superman. The Skins are a co-star, just a foil to America's team. Look at the title of this very thread, on the Redskins site....Cowboys vs Cards...LMAO. And next to it, a fantasy piece about the Redskins hoping to get Sean Lee next year. Let me take it back, if the Cowboys were Batman, the Giants would be the Joker, the Eagles would be Bane, and the Skins would be.... the Penguin...no threat at all in the big picture
