honestly the only good things I can take from this game is it is the 1st preseason game, & how Dixon is getting around the field.

I don't know if he has the range to play FS or not, but he has been the only positive tonight on defense.

Hanie did nothing while he was QBing the offense (the OL didn't help any either)


Vaughn did get a 1st down & also attempted a deeper pass, but offense still punting.

Seems like Vaughn isn't afraid to go deeper than the other QBs. Newsome had a nice catch for 27 yds.

The way Hanie played tonight Weeden isn't worried about the #2QB. Vaughn looks nice for a UDFA. Tall with a strong arm. If Hanie doesn't play better next week he's probably an early cut.

Poor execution inside the redzone. Still, I come away feeling better about the QB spots behind Romo than going in. That and a few defensive guys did okay. Dixon had a solid showing. Boatright flashed, Hitchens was so-so, Mitchell was quick, but he needs some work as does Bishop.

It's going to be a long season if any of these guys are forced to log a lot of minutes. Going to be a long enough season the way things stand today.
