Our next game is Thursday? Welp, that's a loss. No point in even watching. We will get destroyed.

oh yea.

and lol @ the time Tony Romo hushed the Cincinnati crowd... and it actually worked.

Cowboy fans need to be told to be quiet by the visiting QB.

ONLY IN CINCINNATI

This franchise has surpassed joke, its a travesty.

so we would have to beat Pittsburgh (and the remaining games), and Pittsburgh will have to lose @ dallas or vs Cleveland.

why even watch... we know what's going to happen.

They just beat the Ravens today and have been playing very well they are looking very much like a playoff team. I'd call them a good team.

Oh and BTW Pittsburgh is 1 game over .500 too.

Dan - if we win out we are in over Pitt. We don't need then to lose to anyone besides us.

Yeah, they are playing well NOW. If we played now, I don't think the Bengals would sniff a W.

Doesn't matter if they played now. They are a good team and we beat them. That's all Kramer said. That we never beat a good team.

Wait... So you're saying it's a good win because they're good NOW. But if we played again, it doesn't matter? Ok, play both sides of that card.

The skins have won 4 in a row to get to one over .500. They are playing very well right now, they were terrible earlier in the year. If you're going to call it 'a good win' now, you have to respect the fact that if we played right now, we would lose.

I was VERY glad to play the Redskins early in the season. RGIII was a shell of what he is now.

A win is a win. When they loom at SOS and we look back at this year in the offseason we will have beaten a good Washington team. And like I said, Pitt is 7-6 too. Does that mean they aren't a good team?

Pittsburgh isn't very good. They lost to Tennessee, Oakland and Cleveland. They struggled in a win against Philly. But things never seem to change - They always hang around and it's hard to imagine them not being in the playoffs.

And yet we can't beat them. I guarantee they'll make us their bitch yet again.

My frustration can be explained in these two sentences.

The Bengals team that played in the first quarter could probably make it to the second round of the playoffs.

the Bengals team that finished the game couldn't beat the Kentucky Wildcats.

yet somehow... they are the same damned team.

It's like the girl you dated in college with the split personalities.

We lost to an NFC team and they lost to an AFC team, so we did gain some ground on them.

This is true -- Believe it or not, given what happened in other action, this week didn't matter. In fact, it made next week moot.

If we beat Pittsburgh and Baltimore we're in, and if we don't we're not. Easy as that.

I wouldn't count on it though.

That's not true. Our easiest way into the playoffs is to have a better record than them. If we beat Philly and they lose to Dallas, we're one game up. Then we'd only have to finish the final 2 games with the same record as them to get in (this includes a potential loss to Pittsburgh).

If they beat Dallas, then it's a moot point. Then our only roads to the playoffs are:

1) Beat both Pittsburgh and Baltimore
2) Beat Pittsburgh and hope they lose to Cleveland.

I think this is right.

only problem is, if we say "only beat Pittsburgh", and Pittsburgh also loses to Cleveland, The Jets could steal it by winning out, and they have a decent schedule.
