Personally I wouldn't take him (or any WR other than McMillan) at 12, but like I said in another post I have a feeling the Cowboys may force it4.29. Kid is always open
It's best player for me in round 1. Anything else and you risk Taco Charltoning a draft. If the grades are about equal on two players, need can be the tiebreaker, but i would pay the scouts to grade them all and then I would go straight down the board. After I've taken a position, I may not double up unless we need it, but there's not a position on this team we couldn't use help at. I wouldnt let the clubs shitty way of using free agency deter me from having great draftsPersonally I wouldn't take him (or any WR other than McMillan) at 12, but like I said in another post I have a feeling the Cowboys may force it
I would not be mad if Golden was in the lineup to help Lamb. He brings a different element with that speed. It not all about the speed with him either . Makes tough grabs and tracks the ball very well. It's best player for me in round 1. Anything else and you risk Taco Charltoning a draft. He's probably in that group of guys that are on our radar if we trade down. What if Sanders is on the board at 12? I bet the Steelers or some other team would give up a ton to move up. It only takes one team to see him as a franchise QBI would not be mad if Golden was in the lineup to help Lamb. He brings a different element with that speed. Steelers don't have a 2nd rounder and I don't see them giving up next year's 1st and this year's first to move up to 12 from 21. Maybe #12 for #21 and the 19th pick of the 3rd round and next years 2nd rounder? He's probably in that group of guys that are on our radar if we trade down. What if Sanders is on the board at 12? I think they are going to want to try and trade down. Whether the find a trade partner is up for debate. Especially in this draftHe's probably in that group of guys that are on our radar if we trade down. What if Sanders is on the board at 12? well I think there is Garrett & TJ & then everybody else.I think they would, for a 1st or 2nd, only because they just paid both WR's and they've paid their QB and they have a super cheap owner, which is embarrassing really. I promise you, the Cowboys make far, far more than the Bengals, but we still haven't paid Micah
I think Micah is as good as either personally. On the fieldwell I think there is Garrett & TJ & then everybody else.
& I think he is at the top of everybody else!
I know I am in the minority on this (hell maybe the only one LOL)I think Micah is as good as either personally. On the field
I couldn't agree more. Micah should play find the scrub from everywhere. Find their weakest links and wear their ass outI know I am in the minority on this (hell maybe the only one LOL)
but Micah potential is through the roof.
However when we moved him anywhere in the 7 positions. He was pure carnage. And we got a lot more turnovers as well. He got his sacks still. Not sure there was a good gameplan to stop him.
But then
We decided man. Could you imagine if we made him just primarily rusher? How many sacks he will get. For him makes sense because sacks get you paid.
However once we one dimensionalized him. He hasnt been as effective as before. In fact he can be gameplanned out of the game at times. granted not against weak teams, but whats important is against those good teams.
Maybe this new DC sees this & makes some key changes. who knows?
but I think he wants to be "the" rusher & have that glory & I think we maybe catering to his wants vs. what would be better.
It'll be an interesting year. To me as of late. he gets more credit than he is deserving.
& yes I understand he derseves a lot of credit, but with the game plan we use for him. I would not put him near Garrett or TJ Watt.
I think as Cowboy fans. We still look at the potential he could do, not what is actually happening lately.
also he is small for DL. Let him create some of that carnage from a LB position. You dont always have to be on the line to create damage. Also think he would be better against the run if not always on the line. He has the speed. Free him up & let him use it.I couldn't agree more. Micah should play find the scrub from everywhere. It wears him down. He is out there against the run getting double teamed. He could have 20 sack if used properlyalso he is small for DL. Let him create some of that carnage from a LB position. Possibly. There may be a dumb GM out there. I certainly would not draft a QB if I ran the Cowboys. I would be more apt to build for the future and I honestly don't see many franchise QBs in this draft. Maybe Ward will be one. The others I doubt. He's probably in that group of guys that are on our radar if we trade down. What if Sanders is on the board at 12? I bet the Steelers or some other team would give up a ton to move up. It only takes one team to see him as a franchise QB
I really thought the plan last year was for Micah to play more as a blitzing LB. I think all the injuries ruined that plan. The injuries to Sam Williams and then DLaw forced them to keep Micah on the edge full time.also he is small for DL. Let him create some of that carnage from a LB position. You dont always have to be on the line to create damage. Also think he would be better against the run if not always on the line. He has the speed. Free him up & let him use it.
Holy crap would I love it if they bring him in. Not for a 3rd and we gave our 4th away for Mingo
Maybe 2 5th's? They aren't getting a 3rd but he would be worth one IMO

“The Patriots are exploring a trade. I’m told several teams are interested. One team to potentially watch for is the Dallas Cowboys because they are looking for a good backup, a young backup with upside they may not get in the draft, maybe they get in a trade.”The Patriots are reportedly seeking a third-round pick for Milton.

Several teams may not be impressed with the QBs in this draft. I Read A mock that has Dart going in the top 10. Seems crazy, but QBs get over valued every draft. This whole draft could be unpredictable. Cowboys got some talent issues. The pick needs to be BPA. Cowboys can't be drafting some project DT or WR at 12. They can't afford another first round failureHoly crap would I love it if they bring him in. Not for a 3rd and we gave our 4th away for Mingo
