AZ will not make the playoffs and neither will Tampa. You don't know football.

ATL
NYG
SF
CHI
SEA
MIN

are the 6 that get in.

Romo's Cowboys are no where close sporting the 3rd worst offense in the league this season and a 7 and 9 record.

I stand corrected ... Not FWD

Anyone worried the Cowboys "starting line up" has yet to put one in the end zone? Nah, probably not.

"Head in the sand" boys, "head in the sand".

Nope not worried at all. As a matter of fact I will be just fined with Romo playing 1qtr against the Bengals and then calling it. Same for Ware, Witten, Murray, Lee, amd Carter.

First, Dez is awesome. Might end up being the best WR in the league this year. But, as PW Herman would say "everyone I know has a BIG BUT", the Skins do have depth at WR. 5 players with over 500 yards receiving? Is that depth? Yes, it is.

First off, I think we are talking about THIS YEAR, not last year, but correct me if I'm wrong. Our 3 backup WRs this year were pretty young last year, including one that was still in College. As far as stats go, doesn't it seem reasonable that with how good our top receiving options were that there wouldn't be too many balls to go to the others? We had 3 players with more than 300 yards more than your top guy. that doesnt show anything other than lack of opportunity. For your team, I only see 4 guys on ESPNs stat page with over 500 yards, but I may have misread it. But, if your highest guy only had 633 yards, you better have a bunch with over 500 or I'd ask if you only played 8 games...

They won't have any trouble hanging 30 per game against the Skins this year

I agree that you should not be worried about your Offense. The Boys will put up some good numbers. When looking at depth for last year, Garcon our best receiver only played in 7 games (missed 7 and played 1 qtr in 2 others). That means that payers that were to play a back up roll, now had to play the number one spot. Also we had the best run Offense in the League. We did not have to rely on our pass game, and our 3-5 guys got a lot of experience. As you said, you have young players and that is not depth, but a body until they can prove they can make it happen on the field. Ask Detroit fans about college WR not panning out in the league. Adding the TE to this conversation just looks even better. Davis goes down and it took a couple of games and then Paulsen got some great experience. I am not saying that we have better receivers as far as starters, but I feel if the injury bug hits both teams in that one of the starters goes down that we are in a better place to fill that void. Also you had 1300 more passing yards, but only 4 more touchdowns that we did. That is a lot of moving the ball with out scoring a TD. Both sides are going to be good this year if healthy. It is going to make for a great week 6 and week 16 when the two teams clash.

It will be interesting to me to see if Morris is as effective with RG3 posing less of a running threat than last year. I say this only because Washington would be insane IMO to do anything but keep RG3 in the pocket until at least week 10 or 12. If he weren't willing to work from the pocket, I would let him watch Cousins for a couple of months. He has the arm talent to work within that structure, and cleared to play or not, if he takes a shot on that knee before it is completely healed, he may be done

I suppose that I still fall for the belief that you win by taking care of business up front, unless you're very exceptional elsewhere or you just get lucky. My fear for the Cowboys is that they've done far too little to improve their lines, and it's going to constantly haunt them this season. I think another 8-8 season is around the corner, and I worry its possible I'm giving them a win or two I shouldn't.

RGIII will not run for as many yards as he did last year, but they are not going to stop it all together. They only had set runs 4 to 5 times a game, the rest was him getting out of the way of the pass rush. I would rather him run the ball a couple times a game to keep the front 7 honest and then step back and hit the TE over the center or a streaking wide out down the field then to become a pocket passer only. We also have Helu that will help spell Morris and keep him fresher for the season and for late in the game when we need to run the clock down. The two games between our teams are going to be real fun to watch, and I would love to get an early birthday present with a big win Sunday OCT 13th on national TV.

I just don't see 8-8 again.
Even if we didn'timprove the O-line as much as we should have. It did improve the moment we took Frederick.
All the injuries we had last year... and we still managed 8-8

Our running game will be better. If for no other reason we have better quality depth this year.
Witten will be Witten
Dez grows every year
Smith gets better every year.
Harris has improved every year.

And we got awhole lot smarter/better coaches on the defensive side of the ball.
All that has got to count for atleast 1-2 games to the plus side of .500

I agree with you on that. I think all three of us (NYG, Dal and Wash) will be between 9 to 11 wins. The one thing that a lot of poster on this board are not looking at is the teams that you are playing got better this year as well. Kansas City is not going to be a sure win. St. Louis beat SF and Seattle last year and they have been talking about how they have improved from last year. All 4 teams in the NFCE are better then they were last year. 9 wins could still win the east this year. It will be a dog fight the last two weeks of the year. All 4 teams need to come out of the gate early.

Totally agree with you on this.

I think the 4th place team is Philly.... That's the only team you can count out of it.
As stands now it's up for grabs between Skins, Giants, and Cowboys. Injuries will be the likely deciding factor.

Something I think most people look past is the division was the final game away from looking totally different. Cowboys win the final game... the division is a 3 way tie with the Giants in 3rd

It's alot closer than most want to admit
