answer my question. If Cousins wins the final three games would you finally agree with me that it would of have been a different season with KC in there from week1?

Again - don't put too much stock in these last three games. Two are against bad teams that at this point might mail it in (like the Skins did against KC). Also expect to see a lot of backups on the field. The third is against the Cowboys who - while still contenders - have a terrible defense.

Winning all three would not prove as much as you believe and - get real - they won't go 3-0. I really have to ask you - do you truly care about the Redskins or are you more concerned with being right and saying "I told you so"?

Dean, you never listen. No one cares if KC might have won another game or two (big if). Our position was always about the development of RG3, the future of the Redskins. This season was lost for a myriad of reasons, not just QB play. If this fiasco hadn't happened, I would still be of that mind. But given the situation that has developed, I no longer feel that RG3 can develop anything in this environment. So pull him and protect him for the future.

I'm more worried about KC getting through the next 3 games upright and with some trade value than the remote possibility of him winning any games.

KC wasn't gonna win jack shit, unless he could have played defense or special teams.

Some of the posts here just remind me that different people have different agendas. Personally - my main concern is not Shanahan, Snyder, RG3, Cousins, Hasslett, etc. It is the WASHINGTON REDSKINS - period!

I would love to be wrong about everything that I state if in the end the team does well. I will certainly not be pulling against Cousins during the upcoming games since I always cheer for the team (although I may not watch). I just want this stupid circus to end already. I also wish everyone would stop trying to revisit history. In spite of whatever Cousins does over the next several games it will not prove what he could have done in previous games. There are simply too many other factors involved in those games.

I do care about the Redskins and I want to see them win. I believe that the Redskins have a better chance of winning with KC at QB. You guys don't. Don't give me this week schedule crap. Rg3 lost to the Cowboys and Giants, if KC beats them it says something. If KC goes 3-0 it should send shockwaves through this organization b/c everyone would have been thinking what if we started KC from week 1. I refuse to discount these last 3 games, they are very important to any Redskin fan out there. Yes, this would validate my statement from Sept. if KC goes 3-0. Why wouldn't any Redskins fan not want to see KC do well? That baffles me.

Amen. This is why Dan needs to be looking to the future at this point. This pissing contest with Mike is looking back. $7M is peanuts in the grand scheme of things for Dan. Let it go, be the bigger man. More importantly, be a leader. This is an appropriate time for him to get involved, if for no other reason than to try and minimize the damage.

I hope he lights it up. Just ups his trade value.

IM going to play devils advocate here (surprise). But what if the play calling which many have called horrid, changes with Cousins in. Say we are actually running audibles at the line, changing plays. If the play calling was limited because of an inability of the QB, you dont think that would have a drastic effect on the entire teams performance?? Not saying cousins will come in and be the 5th unknown Manning. But lets face it, Griffin has primarily been a one read and run option QB. MAybe thats because he doesnt yet have the skills to be a drop back QB. If we see a more creative play calling with Cousins in, this can not be discounted.

OK, so what does that mean? We all know that RG3 has to develop these skills. At this point, the way everyone is acting, kyle could put together a great game plan and they are still being fired. There is no way that this can be saved.

Right on Shark. This is why I think we had a better chance of winning with KC at QB.

That is nonsense. Are you telling me that a midseason game against the Giants (when both teams were at least mathematically in the playoffs & the Giants had a legit shot) is the same as the season finale when neither team has a shot? That is ridiculous. Pretty much same thing with the Falcons game. As I stated - both teams will probably substitute a lot for a variety of reasons.

Also - why are these last 3 games important to Redskins fans? There is no chance for playoffs, they will basically be forgotten next season & also will only make for lower draft picks if they win. I would also love to see why you would think that they will win the next three given the current environment. Somehow - you believe that the success or failure of this team depends 100% on QB play. We must be watching different teams. I guess you didn't see the numerous kick/punt returns by other teams, the shoddy tackling, the horrible secondary play, the numerous drops, the crappy O-line play, etc. It was all because of QB play - right?

You dont think that the offense actually being able to I dont know, score a few points in the first half, and maybe not being down by 21 or more points at the half might effect the over all outcome and play of the team as a whole?? Better QB play could have a drastic effect on this. Its alot different playing defense when you are down by 3 or actually leading in the second haf than when you are down by 21 and your offense has done exactly dick for the first three quarters of the game. Right now teams know, take away Morris and RG3 cant beat you with his arm. The offense cant sustain drives and put up points early. The defense spends most of he first half on the field, its no wonder we end up giving up 30 points a game.

right on again Shark. These guys don't understand that. These 3 games are important to Redskins fans especially if they go 3-0.

I am not saying that RG3 is not a part of the problem - perhaps a big part. However - there are other factors. First of all - the offensive problems don't all fall on RG3 - we have watched games where the receivers dropped numerous balls & where the O-line play was dreadful - does that all fall on RG3?

As for defense - that is somewhat of a cop-out that I have seen numerous times on this site. Sure - there are times when they are on the field too long. However - what about the 90+ yd drives (which we have seen much too often). Is that the offenses fault? How about the crappy special teams? Want to pin that on the offense?

We all know the truth lies in the middle. RG3 is to blame as are the coaches & a lot of the other players. My only pt is the Cousins won't solve this all & we have yet to see how he will perform. Let's wait for that part before jumping to too many conclusions.

OK - your turn. Please explain to me why these next three games are so important to Redskins fans?

Of course there are multiple problems with our team. I just believe we wouldn't be 3-10 with KC in there. We should of been a .500 team with decent QB play.
