1st game of the year, so anything is possible. But Bammer takes this one. It will be a home crowd for the Tide.

Bama could play at the Coliseum and it'd feel like a home game

But it's hard to answer cause I can see a scenario where SC or Bama slaughter each other. I can't really imagine Kiffin is going to play super conservative to allow SC to keep it tight.

I mean USC does have the home advantage for the game but yeah even still I think Alabama has the edge with what you said.

I thought this game was being played on a neutral site? Bama doesn't travel to places where they could possible be beat.

Shit, our secret is out. I guess everyone will be winning 4 national championships in 7 years now.

You don't want to be here if that happens. I mean right now most of the USC fans are content with picking on Oregon's QB woes or making stoned and incoherent rants on fringe boards after they have said they are quitting this place.

If USC wins that game their fans are going to feel empowered on the national stage again and they will spill out all over this mother fucker. God help you all if that happens.

It would be good for SportsHoopla member #'s though. We would be seeing a mass entrance of USC fans out of nowhere.

Nah, they would need this kind of non conference play to have a real chance.

Sept 10 - Western Kentucky Hilltoppers
Sept 24 - Kent State Golden Flashes
Nov 9 - Chattanooga Mocs

Very unlikely.

USC may be able to keep it close early if they can pressure the green quarterback into mistakes. However, I doubt he'll be throwing many high risk passes. Only if USC can stop the run would that occur, and that looks nigh on impossible at this point.

If USC can somehow control the clock somewhat by running the ball, that'd help.

It's the only OOC game of Bamas that doesn't involve a High school team so Saban will unload on USC to make a playoff statement. USC is beyond fucked in this game. They're still not at full strength from the sanctions when it comes to jr and sr talent, and it's basically a new coaching crew.

Bama wins by atleast 17 to 20. It's going to resemble what Ohio State did to Oregon. Total curbstomp.

USC homer and going to the game so I'm hoping for a close game at least. USC does have some weapons and should be able to score. They return the entire O line and NFL WRs and a great RB. The D line is what concerns me. Bama should be able to run because the D line is USCs weakness on D. So best and only way for USC to win is to score enough to force Bama to throw against USCs DBs.

Alabama has some problems with teams that score fast and score often.
Their Offense isn't set up to keep up.
It's USC's only chance.

And by chance, I mean about a 2% chance.

Good Luck Trojans
