Well, of course not brah...but I'll just go NFC here to keep it simple. You think the Cowboys win the NFCE with Weeden, the Packers NFCN with Tolzien, the Seahawks NFCW with Jackson or how about the Panthers winning the NFCS with Anderson?
This is a QB driven league brah. Due to all the rule changes brah, especially the "you can't touch my QB rule" that protect the owners investment, being an NFL QB today has never been easier!...LOL @ you for diminishing the value of today's NFL QB position. Yes brah, IMO just average QB play by any Redskins QB would have had this team winning at least .500 of their games...and, that just the truth even out West in Cali brah.
First of all I don't live anywhere near SoCal at this time (wish I did). Secondly - I am not denying that a good QB is important & that the Redskins would certainly benefit from good QB play. However - QB is not the end all / be all for any team. Even with a very good QB you need adequate talent on the rest of the team. My pt is that this team has had far from adequate talent in the last 5-10 years.
This lack of talent is primarily due to a very poor front office. Their track record in the recent past in drafting, free agent pickups & player development has been atrocious. That is why IMO the pickup of SM as GM is the most significant pickup for this team in the past 10 years. It is also why I am not that worried if either RG3 or Cousins does well this season. If they both fail I feel pretty confident that this team will have a solid base of talent & other positions to allow them to select their eventual QB next season or beyond.
Your train of thought is very Sndyer-esque or Vinny-like. You appear to only focus on the glamor positions & don't really put much stock into other positions that matter just as much such as O-line, D-line & Safety. IMO - all of these positions are important. Perhaps I am misunderstanding your pt.
