Basically. Our forwards, save perhaps Staal, are all grinding types. Not a single guy that could even attempt to take over a game.

It's really dark in there. Not as bad as MSG, but I feel like no ones watching.

I have a question. Don't take this the wrong way.

I've seen a lot of Penguins games over the past few seasons on TV. Is it me or are Penguins fans the quietest fans in the entire league. The energy in the arena for a home game seems very blase.

Crawford robbed Sterling I think. Even bigger toe save on Staal.

I don't know, I think Flames fans are pretty quiet until the team scores a goal.

I think some of it has to do with the vastness of the arena. I've been to several games at the Joe and several at United, and the United just feels enormous. It's hard to see the game play from the top bowl, and I'm guessing that makes it harder to light for TV.

I think different telecasts use different sound levels for the microphones. I remember a few games in the Finals when the crowd noise was deafening for a few minutes, and then suddenly seemed to get "turned down". I know people weren't toning down during the SCFs, so I'm guessing what you hear on TV isn't always an accurate reflection on what's going on in the arena.

Now there may be an ambiance difference, for instance MSG seems to be a very "reactive" arena, where the crowd is very responsive to the play on the ice. Places like Minny and Detroit seem to me like the crowd can get lulled into the game and quiet down if there isn't a lot of action going on.

That puck deflected just enough off of Michalek's leg. I don't think Fleury read the deflection.
