This thread is for players that you think are getting overlooked this season. This is for players that you see getting overlooked by news outlets (espn, yahoo, etc.), drafter (adp), and posters on this board. I'll start off.

Keenan Allen. This guy had a monster rookie year. He has a very solid QB tossing the ball. The charger offense looks to be very solid. They have a very good running back by committee. You know that rivers will be throwing the ball a lot as well. I think that Allen will be the main beneficiary. I doubt Gates cuts into his targets too much. Malcolm Floyd isn't very good and Green probably has another year before he takes over full time as the number 1 tight end. Allen could end the year as a top ten wr and he's between the 15th and 20th wr off of the board.

Ray Rice. He'll miss the first two games, so it's important to draft pierce as a hand cuff, but Kubiak is a running back guru like Trestman is a quarterback guru. Rice probably won't get the opportunities of Charles and McCoy, but he could very well be a top 5 runner this year if he remains healthy. People forget he was hurt last year. He's going after rbs like Cj spiller and Trent Richardson (who could be a similar story).

Roddy White. If he's healthy he could return to a 1200-1300 yard receiver and close to 10 TDs. Defenses will be keying in on Julio leaving him open. When These two are healthy they rival chicago as the top two receiver tandem. He also has a quality QB throwing to him. Sam Baker going down for the year is a little alarming for their passing game, but I think it can be overcame if the rest of the offense stays reasonably healthy. I think Roddy could end the year as a top ten wr.

Respectfully disagree with the first two, but am on board with Roddy. I'm not sure why he's bumped down to a late 4th.

I can see why people don't like Rice, but I don't understand the disrespect Allen gets.

I don't see where your thinking Allen is getting disrespected. . Dude is being drafted WAY earlier than where any one should be taking him

It seems like I say this every year, but Jason Witten goes later than he should every year. I know he doesn't catch that many touchdowns, but he has to be the most consistent tight end pass catcher after the big 3 (Graham, Gronk, J. Thomas). He was drafted 106th in the A league as the 10th tight end. Darren McFadden was taken 2 picks before him. Darren freaking McFadden.

Meh, I think the difference between cam and the tenth best QB is marginal. I don't think he'll be close to Brees, Peyton, or Rodgers. I am also not convinced he'll even be better than Cutler or Brady. I would've included Ryan, but his Oline looks to start off in shambles again. If he is better than Cutler or Brady, I doubt it's by enough to take him in rounds 3-5 which is probably where he'll go.

Good point. McFadden shouldn't even be drafted.

Allen's current ADP has him as a 3rd rounder in a 12 team league, ahead of guys like Fitzgerald, Garcon, Vincent Jackson and Victor Cruz. . That's far from being overlooked. I wouldn't take him until all those guys are off the board, 5th, 6th.
I think everyone forgets he had this monster season with no competition for targets other than an aging TE, and an unpolished TE.. that's not the case this year, Malcolm Floyd is around, and Ladarius Green is a bit more acclimated. At best he might replicate his rookie numbers, more likely they fall.

Exactly (what Treff said)... Allen isn't under rated as the 15thish WR ranked/taken. I'm certainly not putting him in the top 10, ...it's not like he's going after Dwayne Bowe or anything.

I think playing a full schedule as a starter, Allen will easily equal his rookie year totals.

Remember - they were gift wrapping TDs to Eddie Royal like no body's business the start the year off.
And I laughed all the way to the bank when other owners chased those TDs and grabbed Royal off waivers and I added Allen last year in 3 of my 4 money leagues.

QB: Tony Romo
People overlook him because he's so incredibly unclutch, and because people love to hate the Cowboys. But he consistently puts up solid numbers.

RB: Fred Jackson
Got him with the 99th pick in my draft. Absolute steal with that pick IMO. He is going to split time with Spiller, and get most of the goal line work. And when Spiller inevitably gets hurt for 3-4 games, Jackson turns into a RB2.

Rivers is another one. He had a bad season 2 years ago, but has solid receiving options in Allen, Floyd, Gates, Green, Woodhead

You think Floyd or green busts out? You know Rivers is going to provide someone with top level receptions.

Green yes, Floyd? I think the time for him to bust out may have passed, but he is a solid veteran WR, and they will throw him the ball instead of force feeding Allen.

Once again top 5 every year none if those other guys are. You can't dispute that

Yeah, but you can dispute the fact that players can be drafted where you get newton that could give you a bigger advantage at their respective positions than cam can. Yeah, hell probably be top 5 again, but at QB usually being anything outside of the top 3 is not really much of an advantage.

Agreed. Yes Cam has been a consistent top 5 QB, but if I'm drafting in the middle of the 5th, I'd rather have Patterson/DeSean/Garcon, and wait until the 8th for Brady or the 9th/10th for Rivers. Just my personal taste though.
