i have the secret for betting on sports...bet on the NHL...vegas doesn't know shit about it. line is +-1.5 every time, and it isn't tough to figure out who will beat the spread or not.

I've done that and i've lost more money than I've made.

It's twice as nice when your team wins AND you get paid. It's never done much to soften the blow for me anyway.

I would think NU hasn't fared too well against the spread the past 4-5 years or so.

I watch the spreads but haven't gambled in 10 years or so, so I couldn't be sure because I don't pay much attention to the result. Just W/L's

if you were smart you would put the 200 on one team, and the 100/50 with double or nothing, on the other team...that way...either way you get either 50 bucks or 100 assuming the odds were 50/50 on both bets...
