So first HOF return specialist or no ? I'd say no, but that could change if he keep doing it for a couple more years.

Well, based on the logic that they just let a punter in to go along with a kicker...you kinda have to have Hester in there. If Ray Guy is there because he's considered the GOAT punter, then it only makes sense the GOAT return man gets in too. :noidea:

Not necessarily first ballot, but definitely at some time down the road.

I think Hester might get in the back door of the HOF if he gets into the postseason and does some damage. Like a Kurt Warner type. Its really hard to get into the HOF

It has been a lot of years since the Packers - Patriots Superbowl. I remember it like yesterday though. Hester single - handedly tore up the Pats chances when they decided to kick to him. Without kicking to Hester, Pats could have won the game. Hester's good games didn't start yesterday - he'll be in the HOF easily. Best return man ever.....

Stenerud changed the game. I still disagree with letting Guy in. I'm sort of on the fence about Hester.

I know Special Teamers are "not allowed" in the HOF, but Hester should be a first ballot HOFer IHMO.

What Devin did in his first few seasons is really, unparalleled in the history of the NFL.

If he goes on to shatter that return record, like I believe he will, he should kick down those HOF boundaries.

Three kickers are in and a punter just made it, so Hester has a shot.
