Listen, I’m a great big fan of the optics involved in sending a dude who just so happened to be partnered with Donaghy on 75% of the games he rigged who also happens to have a 1–15 record against Harden sent to officiate game 7 along with a dude whose family posts Celtics shit all the time on social media. I get it. I’m not supposed to react to that shit. I guess it would be a different story if someone was able to prove fucked up gambling shenanigans with an NBA ref with evidence that they fucked with the outcome of playoff games through officials. Oh wait…

Nope. You’re not allowed to say that. The fan of the team with the historic foul disparity in his favor says these are all just excuses. Optics aren’t a thing anyone should focus on. It’s an unreasonable ask to demand fairness in this stuff.
