I'm not sure what to say.

Lots of missed FT for the Cs. Fatigue from the long season last year?
Battle of the worst coaches?

Finally got the Maxey game and Tobias decided to show up.

Having to waste extra time in atl after that game 5 meltdown 100% cost them

Probably the series

I still can't get over the fact that Joe Mazulla and the Celtics decided midway through the second quarter that they would slow down the game and get into a FT contest with these two guys in a game 5 at home

Let's finish them. Boston wants to try again next year.

Pretty awful effort from the C's last night... I couldn't watch the end.

The way that Boston devolved into one-on-one basketball when the going got tough... the way they seem to have no plan against a basic zone defense... it's just agonizing.

Where's the leadership?

Harden is a great guy. He has taken a lot of flak over the years from losers and bitches.

Harden has earned some of it

He’s mailed in his fair share of playoff games

He’s forced his way off 2 teams

But no one would’ve been saying anything bad Paul not gotten hurt against gs

Doc calling House's number was a great call, but made you wonder why House wasn't playing already. That energy could be needed the rest of the way.

Might be similar to Lonnie Walker IV. Ham said that he lost his spot in the rotation "through no fault of his own". But he stayed ready, responded when his number was called and is back in the rotation at least for this series.

Doc admitted that playing House was basically a last minute gut move he made. He was very good and will likely take McDaniels' minutes going forward because he played solid D and also was effective scoring in transition. Just brought a lot of energy off the bench. McDaniels plays hard but commits a lot of dumb fouls when he is in there.

@Gman I am shocked that Boston has not adjusted to the zone better. It's been really effective. Boston can sometimes just make it rain with perimeter shots, but they were not falling last night for Horford and some others, and the zone seemed to really work.

I thought this since the finals last year

No you didn’t because you criticized me when I put forth the idea that Jaylen Brown has surpassed in being an elite two way player. Brown doesn’t shoot his team out of games.
