Judge Fudge
One Pretty Kinky Bastard
Would make a good one too.
could do with another couple of periods of this...For how much it was hyped up (by Lebrun especially) the Jets/Predators series wasn't as good as this one has been yet. This is quality hockey.
Knights will win the cup
Does anybody else hate this Vegas team? I honestly would root for Boston or Philadelphia first.
Is there anything about Vegas that doesn't come across as over-compensatory and douchey?
And, Vegas news station...
"Shots fired"?
Nice job.
It would still be better than losing to a team that lost the championship to a first year expansion team in the first round wouldn't it?The idea of the Capitals being the only team to ever lose a championship to a first year expansion team makes me chuckle.
The icing on the cake would be if the cup winning goal is a controversial call. ala Brett Hull's skate.
Why do you people hate Vegas? I don't get it. The team is literally doing everything you possibly can well, on the ice, off the ice and everything in between.
They put on these elaborate on ice productions, market the team hard and it's "over compensating". If they do "average" and get "average" results, people would cry that they are a failure.
They were picked to finish in the bottom 3 after the expansion draft and everyone was whispering, "they should be sellers! trade neal for more assets!" until 11 AM on trade deadline day and they are 2 wins away from the Cup finals...
I actually have little trouble with the team itself, or the fans. It just kind of bugs me an expansion team has gone this far. It might be silly or petty, but it still keeps bugging me.Nothing more than pure, good old, human jealousy. From my chair, this team has done everything "the right way". No clap trap crap, no Broad Street Bullies nonsense. They havent tried painting the ice bright blue or used glowing pucks. Every single one of the complainers would LOVE it if it were their team.
Jealousy.

Yeah? Well it's better than not making the playoffs in a year when an expansion team wins the cup!
*sniff*
