Just noticed that Kansas is #1 on the Big 12 Standings with no conference games played and wondered about their RPI so I decided to search for computer ratings to see if they SOS was any good and it wasn't.
I feel much better about my Longhorns #4.
Here's Boyd's World. NCAA Division I Baseball -- Pseudo-RPI's Best viewed at their website I tried to adjust the page but it didn't work so well. You should have seen it before I edited it, just one long stream of data.

Division I Adjusted Overall
Rank Rating W L W L W L Team
1 0.712 11 1 10.1 0.7 11 1 Memphis
2 0.688 12 0 9.3 0.0 12 0 South Carolina
3 0.687 1 2 1.3 1.4 1 2 Dartmouth
4 0.674 10 3 9.1 2.7 10 3 Texas
5 0.672 1 2 1.3 1.4 1 2 Yale
6 0.665 9 2 7.8 2.3 9 2 Virginia
7 0.664 8 3 6.8 3.0 9 3 Fresno State
8 0.655 2 2 2.6 1.4 2 2 Sacred Heart
9 0.651 10 1 8.8 1.3 10 1 Florida State
10 0.649 2 2 2.6 1.4 2 2 Columbia
I'm figuring the teams with losing records got beat by teams with winning records and will fall down the ratings once they start playing more series.
