haven't had a chance to read this whole thread but i need to see T.O.P

granted we had some passing..but really, we ran most of the time which wouldn't allow that many points. I think if T.O coached today we would give up 40-50.

also, we had much better coordinators with T.O.

Read up on Osborne talking about when he was OC under Devaney. He said he never understood why Devaney wouldn't let him open up the offense more. He only understood it once he became a head coach himself. As the head coach you become more conservative and take fewer risks.

Bo's biggest failure is not getting quality coordinators/position coaches. I do think execution is a huge problem and we need coaches that can teach the basic fundamentals.

The janitors back then said T.O. was the first one in in the morning and the last to leave at night as the lights were being shut off. He worked 18 hour days. He has alluded to missing his kids grow up and credits Nancy with raising them. He's trying to make up that lost time to his grandkids.

I doubt Bo puts in that kind of time, but I don't know.

I have been told that Bo is in his office on most nights until around 9pm.......don't know if that is 100% true or not, but I was told that by an old friend of mine who I used to work with there.

When I worked in the stadium, Callahan beat me out the door every single day. On several occasions I would be getting on the elevator to go down and fix a computer and I'd have to stop for him to get on, and he had all of his shit and was headed out to his SUV to call it a day.

To be quite honest, Callahan was never really ever around. He would show up for practices and then it was like he was just nonexistent.

Well Bo contradicts himself, because he's on record (when he got here) for saying Suh was the strongest player he'd ever seen.
Motor + Strength = Blow people up.

I find it funny that Dobson even takes credit in his bio for developing Suh. He hasn't developed much else in the trenches.

I believe now suh simply stepped up aka grew up!

Suh Dorsey clowney are freak players that I find a hard time believing coaches take credit for their development or accomplishments

As we can see outside of crick. No other DL has made noise under bo Allen turner are close DE wise...

Funny back 09-10 we prayed for and offense now it's for a defense hahah tables have turned

For argument, Bo should take credit for Suh's success in college. He wasn't all that great in HS, the only reason he stood out was because we was simply bigger and stronger naturally to his competition in Oregon. Also, once Suh went to Nebraska, I never heard of him again until Pelini showed up.

I think you guys got a solid person and coach in Pelini, he is a brand new head coach and entering his what? 5th 6th year? It takes time to learn the position, but Nebraska could strike gold, as if he makes it, he is young enough to be there for decades, if he doesn't, he at least helped build the program back up (guarantee 9 wins each year) and he leaves the cupboard relatively full for the next guy.

Be glad you got Pelini, remember, you could have gotten Turner Gill.

Name another DL that has made noise at Nebraska or NFL wise under bo.....

Suh grew up and bought into Nebraska after cally left. Why hasn't bo developed any other linemen ??

Suh was and is a freak only person stopping suh is suh himself

Also we have had numerous coaching changes. 3 secondary coaches. 3 d coordators. 2 offensive coordinators. 2 Dline coaches. It is hard to build consistenty when you are constantly changing up the coaching staff.

Suh hasn't been as dominant in the NFL as many thought he was going to be

whats the reasoning behind this? Coaches just getting promoted jobs elsewhere?

Like I said suh is the only person that can stop himself

When suh is dialed in he's hard to stop but he hasn't always been dialed in at Detroit

3 DC? Who are the 3? In title only it has been Carl and Papuchis but Bo is the DC!!!!!!

Coaching changes are not the reason for anything bad going on. Name any of those changes where their wasn't an upgrade?

Yeah. Coaching changes and talent are not a good excuse for getting owned like Idaho St against tOSU and Wisky in the CCG.

It's not even a doubt that Nebraska has better players than Idaho St.

Where the problem is, is when they play like them. It lies somewhere between lack of prep, lack of fundamentals, lack of conditioning, lack of discipline, and lack of game-time adjustments.

Take your pick, but it's not players it's coaching.
