This is how Nebraska recruits receivers now

They bring them in and show them film of Tommy Armstrong throwing the ball. Then they show Johnny Stanton throwing the ball. Then they show Zach Darlington throwing the ball.

Then they tell them that Stanton won the California High School championship in 2011 and Darlington won the Florida Championship in 2012 and Tommy Armstrong won the Texas State Championship in 2010, but lost the championship game in 2011.

Three State Champion QBs, from the three recruiting hotbeds of Texas, California, and Florida. Why wouldn't a receiver want to come to Nebraska with Tim Beck's offense?

He's a high 4-star on Rivals... I expect his ranking to be so on Scout and 247 by the end of his senior year. I know a lot of scouts that like Harrison better than Lazzard.

What is this Freedom fella going to play for you guys? Looking at his stats he is a monsterous beast who is relatively fast. Was he a TE/LB in HS?

You could line this guy up similar to what we do with our TE Colt Lyerla...Have him run routes, block, but also be a formidable power running back.
