The one guy in Seattle with a sense of humor.
LoL … Gonna be fun seeing how good that guy can get, insanity how good he was as a rookie… He certainly didn’t play like a rookie…

It was the first time I had true fun as a Skins fan in a long time…at least since RGME’s rookie year.
RG was electric his rookie year, just a dam shame he got that knee injury… Once he came back from it he was never the same, his confidence never came back ..

If it was any other team, we may have survived being up and having the back up come in and finish the game but beastmode and the legion of boom was too much..

Yeah that game was wild, Skins dominated early but Seattle crawled back in it … Beast was a force, and Russ was up and coming, plus our D was nasty … Even though we lost to Atlanta the next week you could just see something good was brewing… In retrospect RG should have been pulled in that game, but in the playoffs it’s a tough decision, win or go home mentality kicks in … Skins looking good though, definitely have something good brewing now, window has opened for you guys…

I still remain one of the only fans who didn't think Shanny should have pulled Griff. They were down a td in the 4th quarter of a playoff game. I once saw Byron Leftwich being hurt so badly his teammates had to carry him to the line of scrimmage, Philip Rivers played in a playoff game with a torn ACL and nobody said a damned thing about those coaches. And one was coaching a college kid. Shanny was told by the doctor he was OK to play and the player lied to the coach about how he felt.

No the blame mostly goes to the center whose bad snap set the play in motion. But nobody wants to talk about that.

Yeah it’s tough to come out when your season is on the line… And yeah, that snap did put that injury over the top, without that bad snap I’m sure he makes it through the game injured but not damaged so badly …. That was brutal to watch, sucks seeing bad injuries like that for any team …

How do you feel about DK gone, and who are you interested in drafting in the 1st round?

I liked DK, he’s a freak athlete, he’s more of a deep threat than anything, not the greatest hands, doesn’t run the cleanest routes and has a little temper on him, got flagged a lot … If he has the right QB throwing to him he’d definitely cause more problems, especially over the top because of his speed and size.. He wanted the trade so getting a pick and cutting some salary worked out.. I’m cool with it … As far as the draft, we need O-line help, edge rusher… Maybe another DB in the mix to bolster the secondary with Witherspoon … We’re in a nice position draft wise, 1st,18th overall, then two 2nd and two 3rd round picks, so 5 picks in the first 3 rounds …. Not a great QB draft on paper, but wouldn’t surprise me if John nabs one IF one he likes is on the board still…

By the way the common misconception from around the league is his injury did him in. The truth from those who saw him play and followed the team is Robert Griffin The Third never learned how to play the QB position.

The Post had a pic with 5 open receivers circled with the caption "RGIII took a sack on this play, I have no idea why" and that kind of told the story. Coach pointed out he was taking a 3 step drop when the play called for a 5 step drop and he was in his third year. He worked out a ton when he should have been studying film.

I think Njigba is an up and comer, who may miss DK not being around. Interesting take on DK, quite a few Hawks have said, he's good but not great. Oh you all did great with the draft haul. Mcdonald wasn't too shabby year 1 either

Njigba has a high ceiling for sure, has looked very impressive early on … The thing about receivers in the NFL, you can find them, sure some can be game changers, I remembers the Skins back in the day with Sanders, Monk, Clark, studs out there, BUT, the harder thing to find is the good QB, because elite QB’s can make average receivers look above average… and great receivers look like HOF receivers… Franchises can go decades trying to find a legit top tier QB, receivers aren’t nearly as hard to find ….
