Washington projected to receive 2 compensatory draft picks. A 3rd for Scherff and a 6th for Settle.
In another sad tale from the chronicles of lightning strikes twice, our story begins with the Indianapolis Colts not having clarity on the retirement announcement of Matt Ryan and their intention to release him when suddenly, out of nowhere, a hero steps forward. He's not a bird, not a plane, but Ronnie-R the trading man! With two new compensatory picks firmly in hand and a desperate bend toward failure, our hero once again comes to the rescue just in the nick of time to save the Colts from doing what everyone expects them to do. :D

What??? Too soon?

I don't trust this group to do more than a few things that enhance their resumes' They have to know new management means pink slips for all.

What is the few things?
1. Attempting to run the transactional period in an orderly fashion. (Remember Rivera is in effect the GM)
2. Scapegoating the (now) former OC for their failures
3. Hire another low-level OC because they can't get a more innovative mind.
4. Backtrack on the public statement concerning Howell as a starter in 2023.
5. Possibly trade for another old, used-up QB.

pessimistically that's probably what's going to happen this offseason

The talent is there. Should have been played after the CW injury. You can make the argument that he was more pro ready than Lawrence.
You can make the argument he wasn’t

Malik willis had production and he wasn’t ready

lol, no way he had the career like Howell and Howell played for UNC not Liberty. Howell played against big time schools like Clemson. You gott be kidding me. bad example.
